The owners, Gary and his family, were so welcoming and provided helpful recommendations for places to visit. The breakfast was delicious, and the views of the lake were stunning. Had a great Easter break at a calm and peaceful retreat in the Lake District. The room was extremely comfortable and spacious with a beautiful private terrace providing a fantastic view of the lake. The owner is very friendly and accommodating with breakfast served in a cozy dining room. The lounge area has an excellent array of books to read. A bonus was the easy access to the car and lake through the patio door.
The Wi-Fi signal was not great in our room, but it was available in the other areas of the house. The location is off the beaten track and slightly hard to find, but worth the effort.

Great stay by the lake with stunning views from the room. the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, equipped with a nice en-suite shower and lots of storage spaces. the breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice, it was the perfect start to the day. One of the best advantages was the owner's son who kindly offered to drop us off to the nearby town, so we could explore and get dinner.
The location was quite remote and far from any restaurants or food places which made it difficult to find a place to eat nearby. We had to drive a bit to get to the nearest town to find food, but it was not a big problem if you have a car.

We got incredible value for our money at Lakeland Midsummer Lakehouse. The room was fantastic and we had a beautiful view of Lake Corrib. The location was so peaceful and quiet, perfect for a good night's sleep. The staff treated us like family and went above and beyond to help us, even offering to take us into town for dinner. We will definitely be returning!
The only small thing that could make the breakfast even better would be to have a few more breakfast items to choose from.
